  1. This book The Brave Little Taylor teaches an invaluable lesson about bravery. As I read I reflect on the Bible story of David and Goliath where wittiness was used to outshine size and power. The thematic concerns bordered around the areas of confidence, determination and bravery.I have learn so much from the character- the brave little taylor.I was truly inspired by his qualities.

  3. Latoya, the illustrations are superb. They give the reader a real insight of the characters and setting.Illustration also give added information which are not explicitly stated in the text. There is strong evidence of magic on the cover illustrations; wherein the tailor is standing in the hand of the giant.Fantasy tales still have their place in this modern era irrespective of how advanced things become. There are still stories that stretch the imagination as we read and get absorbed in the world of fantasy. This book was such a good read i have enjoyed all aspects of it.

  6. This book is appropriate for 8-11 years old.The language is clear and simple. There are some vocabulary which may be new to students. this is not a problem as children are always increasing their repertiore of knowledge. This hard cover book is sturdy and the font size is ok. the plot flowed in a purposeful manner where the reader could easily follow. Tensions were evoked when the tailor went to kill the two giants and when the king sent =sent his men to kill the taylor in his sleep. This book could be used to teach career choices and concepts of bravery and determination.Latoya we are now at the end of four books. It feels so good.
