  1. Hi Ruth,
The book the 4th of July held me spellbound. Finally I can read a part of America's history without feeling overwhelm with all these historical facts. The language is simple and the illustrations strongly depicts the times, therefore allowing me to connect with its content.

  2. Authurine, the history of America is very interesting. When the first settlers came to America,America was like trees. The author has captured the history of this great nation in a short story and has used a language that is simple enough for young children to understand.Rapid growth has taken place in all spheres of the nation that one could not imagine would happen. The children in this nation needs to know the history of their country. The author has presented it beautifully in story form to stimulate children's interest in reading about the history of their country.
