ReplyDeleteAuthor Ian Randle
I think the book was excited but it did not have a universal language.
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of genre do you think the book had?
Phyllis-I agree with you that it's an exciting story and the language is mainly caribbean. As for the genre I believe it's a contemporary one.
ReplyDeleteI believe so too.Lets take a look at the plot-the characters surely overcome the problem easily and it has a natural climax.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think about the characters?
Phyllis --I think the characters were real and suited well into the story.they acted well and allows you to feel apart of the story. How about the theme, was a suitable one?
ReplyDeleteThe story portray some problems and it was realistic so because of that it has a good theme. What pops out when you think about the langage ?
ReplyDeletePhyllis-Whow! I love the language.Quite fitting for the time.On a whole the story line is also a good one. The story has a good ending and will appeal to children between the ages of 9-10 years old.
ReplyDeleteYou are so write the moral in the story is quiet strong . It teaches a good lesson one that will stay with him for every that is ,he will never disobey is mother again.
